Apollo PEX-B tubing is a high-density polyethylene pipe manufactured using the silane moisture cure method to ensure superior cross-linking and long-term durability. This 3/4-inch blue tubing is specifically color-coded for cold water lines, facilitating easy identification during installation in residential and commercial potable water systems. It is rated for use in continuously recirculating systems up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit while maintaining high resistance to chlorine. The flexible material allows for installation in concrete, under flooring, or behind wallboard, significantly reducing the need for fittings compared to rigid piping. This 10-foot straight stick is ideal for short runs and professional plumbing applications requiring corrosion resistance and reliable performance.

Apollo PEX tubing is cross-linked, high-density polyethylene. The silane method, also called the "moisture cure" method, results in PEX-B, where the cross-linking is performed in a secondary post-extrusion process, producing cross-links between a cross-linking agent. The process is accelerated with heat and moisture. The cross-linked bonds are formed through silanol condensation between two grafted (VTMS) units, connecting the polyethylene chains with C-C-Si-O-SiC-C bridges. PEX tubing is for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems. PEX tubing can also be used in "continuously recirculating" plumbing systems up to 140 deg F while maintaining chlorine resistance. The tubing may be installed in concrete, gypsum-based lightweight concrete, sand, asphalt, in or under wood flooring or behind wallboard or plaster. Size: 3/4" x 10' length. Sold per each.
