The Apollo XPRMA12 is a high-performance 1/2-inch copper press-to-male pipe thread (MPT) adapter designed for efficient, flameless plumbing installations. Constructed from premium lead-free copper, this fitting is engineered for use with ASTM B88 Type K, L, and M copper tubing in hard-drawn conditions. It features integrated Leak-Before-Press technology, allowing installers to quickly identify unpressed connections during pressure testing. The internal EPDM O-ring provides a reliable, watertight seal capable of withstanding operating pressures up to 300 psi and temperatures up to 250°F. This adapter is ideal for potable water and hydronic heating applications where a secure transition to threaded components is required without the use of solder or flux.
