The SharkBite UIP4008A is a professional-grade transition coupling designed to connect 1/2-inch PVC (Iron Pipe Size) to 1/2-inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) materials such as Copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT. Engineered with a push-to-connect mechanism, this fitting allows for rapid installation without the need for specialized tools, soldering, or adhesive glues. The lead-free DZR brass body ensures superior corrosion resistance and durability, while the EPDM O-ring provides a reliable, leak-free seal. The fitting features a white collar for PVC pipe compatibility and a tan collar for CTS tubing, and it is rated for performance up to 200 psi and 200°F. Additionally, the coupling is rotatable after installation for precise positioning and can be removed and reused with a disconnect tool.

Fastest way to connect PVC pipe to PEX, Copper, CPVC pipe. Requires no special tools to install. For use on hot or cold lines. Works on wet lines. Rotatable after installation. Sold per each. 6 each per case.

SharkBite® PVC transition couplings connect PVC pipe (SCH 40, 80 and 120) to Copper, PEX, CPVC and PE-RT tubing with no solder, clamps, unions or glue required. The white colored collar is intended for use on PVC pipe while the tan colored collar is intended for Copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT. This fitting is not intended to be connected to PVC pipe on both sides of the fitting.

General Ledger Coding

General Ledger Coding is a value added service provided for you at no additional cost.

General Ledger Coding makes accounting easier by providing you with a calculated total of purchases based on your General Ledger Codes.

In addition to traditional General Ledger Summary provided at time of invoice, we can also provide quotes and order acknowledgements with General Ledger Coding as well. We also give you the ability to change a GL Code for one or all items for renovation projects that may utilize a single GL Code. We can also code any of our "extended inventory" items with your General Ledger Code at the time of quote, order confirmation and invoicing as well. We can code our item numbers directly to your GL Codes should our item categories not align directly with your GL Code Categories.

Please contact us if you wish to implement our General Ledger Coding feature.
