Southwire Duraclad Type AC Armored Cable is a high-performance solution for branch circuit and feeder wiring in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential applications. This 12/2 cable features two solid copper conductors with THHN/THWN insulation, individually wrapped in moisture-resistant, flame-retardant paper. The assembly is protected by a flexible, interlocking galvanized steel armor that provides excellent mechanical defense and serves as an equipment grounding path when combined with the internal 16 AWG aluminum bonding wire. It is rated for 600 volts and 90°C dry locations, making it suitable for concealed or exposed installations, cable trays, and environmental air-handling spaces. This 250-foot coil is designed for efficient installation, eliminating the need for separate conduit and wire pulling.
