USG Sheetrock® Brand EcoSmart Panels Firecode® X represent a sustainable advancement in fire-rated gypsum board technology, offering the same performance as standard 5/8-inch Type X panels with a significantly lower environmental impact. These panels are UL Classified for fire resistance and are engineered to be up to 22% lighter than traditional Type X drywall, reducing installer fatigue and transportation energy. Constructed with a noncombustible gypsum core and 100% recycled face and back paper, they provide excellent sag resistance for both ceiling and wall applications. They are GREENGUARD Gold certified for low chemical emissions, making them an ideal selection for LEED-certified projects and high-performance building envelopes. The panels feature tapered edges for easy joint reinforcement and a smooth, professional finish.

USG® 4X8X5/8 EcoSmart Firecode Drywall for use on interior walls and ceilings. Enhanced proprietary Type X gypsum panels that have been formulated to achieve all of the same strength and performance characteristics as standard 5/8 inch (15.9 mm) Sheetrock® Brand Firecode® X Panels at a lower environmental impact and reduced weight. The panels are UL Classified for fire resistance and can be used in any UL Design in which UltraLight Innovation Type X (ULIX™) panels are listed. Sold per sheet. 26 sheets per pallet.
